Photos permission

PhotoPrune needs Photos access to show your camera roll. You can change access in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, then Photos.

Deleting photos

Swiping in PhotoPrune marks photos for cleanup. The app shows a review checkpoint before asking iOS to delete anything. iOS also shows a system confirmation.

Recovering deleted photos

Deleted photos move to Recently Deleted in the Photos app. Open Photos, go to Albums, then Recently Deleted to recover items while they are still available there.

Storage estimates

Apple's public PhotoKit APIs do not expose exact per-photo file size. PhotoPrune shows selected space as an estimate.

Purchases

If the lifetime unlock does not appear, open PhotoPrune settings and tap Restore purchases.
