PhotoPrune

Privacy Policy

Effective July 9, 2026

Summary

PhotoPrune is designed for private, on-device camera-roll cleanup. The app does not require an account, does not upload your photos, and does not sell personal data.

Photos Access

PhotoPrune uses Apple's PhotoKit APIs to show photos from your local library after you grant Photos permission. Photo organization, cleanup decisions, and review checkpoints happen on your device.

Deletion

PhotoPrune only requests deletion for photos you mark and review. iOS shows its own confirmation before removing items from your library. Deleted photos move to Recently Deleted in the Photos app, subject to Apple's Photos behavior.

Purchases

PhotoPrune may offer a lifetime unlock through Apple's StoreKit system. Apple processes App Store purchases. PhotoPrune can read purchase entitlement status, but it does not receive your payment card details.

Analytics and Tracking

The current app does not include third-party advertising, ad tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. If diagnostics or analytics are added later, this policy will be updated before release.

Children's Privacy

PhotoPrune is not intended to collect personal information from children. The app does not create user accounts or request birth dates.
